Queerit: Queer, feminist, anticapitalist design agency
Queerit is a now-defunct queer, feminist, anticapitalist digital marketing agency founded by Rowan Woodmass. It was active from 2015-2021.
Hi, it’s Rowan.
After 6 years of business, I made the difficult decision to close Queerit in October, 2021. Burnout and mental health struggles had made it unsustainable for me to continue to run the business.
If you are interested in receiving an email if we ever re-open, you can sign up to get email updates below, via Tiny Letter. Once you’ve signed up, you will be able to download my list of recommended freelancers who might be able to help you with your project.
If you are looking for web hosting, I am recommending Green Geeks because of their commitment to offsett the carbon output generated by each hosting client by 300%.
I’m no longer working in tech, and I’m not referring contacts to each other for tech-related projects right now. You can reach out to me using the contact link in the menu if you would like to get in touch on a personal level, or explore this website if you’d like to know more about my pottery, painting, and writing practises. I’m also on social media – links at the bottom of this page.
I am so grateful to the community of people that rallied behind this project. Queerit has been the (digital) site of much connection, growth, and kindness over the years. I’m so grateful to everyone who contributed to it, supported it, and benefited from it.
